Is the bracket free?

Yes. The National and Conference bracket challenges are free, always. The extra games (2nd Chance, Confidence, Seed Pick'em and DFS Pick'em) each unlock with a token.

How is each game scored?

Every game explains its own scoring on its page. Look for the ℹ️ button or the rules section near the top.

When do picks lock?

Each game has its own deadline, shown on its page. The main bracket locks when the tournament's first matches start; games like 2nd Chance open and lock later. Once a game locks you can't unlock it, but you can still follow the public leaderboards.

What are tokens?

Tokens unlock the paid parts of the site: each extra game is 1 token, a draft seat is 1 token, a Season Fantasy seat is 2 tokens, and each token adds 2 more pools. Tokens never expire. You can see current prices in the Store.

What's the Season Pass?

A yearly subscription: $3.99 for your first year, then $7.99 a year. It adds 14 tokens every season. You can cancel anytime and keep everything through the year you paid for.

How do I cancel my Season Pass?

It depends where you subscribed. On the website: on your Profile page. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions.

I bought tokens on my phone. Why don't I see them on the website (or the other way around)?

Purchases belong to your account, not your device. Make sure you're signed in to the same account in both places.

I paid but didn't get my tokens.

Apple and Google sometimes take a few minutes (occasionally longer) to confirm a purchase. Your store receipt email is proof of purchase. If the tokens still aren't there after an hour, email us with your username and the receipt and we'll sort it out.

How do I get a refund?

Website purchases are final, except duplicate or clearly mistaken charges (or where the law requires a refund). If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we'll fix it. App purchases follow Apple's or Google's refund process: iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com,Android in Google Play.

What happens to my account after a refund?

Anything you already unlocked stays unlocked. Unused tokens from that purchase are removed. If some of those tokens were already spent, that amount is held as a balance you'll need to cover before spending or gifting tokens again.

Our draft went badly. Can we get the seats back?

When a draft finishes, the commissioner can request a refund from the "Complete Draft" pop-up. If it's approved, everyone's seat tokens are returned.

What does a draft cost?

Every manager pays 1 token for their own seat, and that includes the commissioner, who pays for theirs when creating the draft. The commissioner can also choose to pay for everyone's seats.

Why can't I start a Snake or Auction draft?

They close once the tournament starts, so nobody drafts with results already in. Custom Draft stays open: if you drafted somewhere else, enter your teams there and we'll score them for you.

The commissioner left and the draft stopped.

Drafts with a short pick timer pause automatically when the commissioner leaves, so nobody gets auto-picked unfairly. It continues when the commissioner comes back and presses Resume.

Can we undo a pick or start over?

The commissioner can undo the last pick (↩ Rewind), or restart or delete the draft from 🗑️. Restarting wipes the picks and starts over with everyone still in, so nobody pays again. Deleting the draft returns every paid seat's token.

How does scoring work?

Only wrestlers in your starting lineup score. By default: decision 3, major 4, tech fall 5, fall or forfeit 6 (your league's commissioner may have changed these). If a wrestler's team has more than one dual in a week, his score is averaged across his team's duals that week.

When does my lineup lock?

Each wrestler locks when his own dual starts, so part of your lineup can be locked while the rest can still be changed.

How does Pick'em scoring work?

Pick the winning team and their team points. Exact: +10. Within 2: +7. Within 3–5: +5. Within 6–10: +3. Within 11–15: +2. Off by 16 or more: +1. Wrong team or no pick: −2.

How do waivers and free agents work?

Waivers run once a week (the highest bid wins). After they run, free agents are first come, first served until the next week starts. Trades close at the end of the trade-deadline week, and waivers and free agents close when the playoffs begin. Your league's How It Works tab shows this season's exact dates.

I think a score is wrong.

Email us with your league name, the wrestler and the week. We check every disputed result against the official dual results.

How many pools can I make?

Everyone gets 1 pool. Each token adds 2 more, with no limit. You'll be offered more when you hit Create.

Someone is being rude in chat.

Report them from the chat (or the Safety page in the menu), and block them if you like. Blocking hides each other's messages in every pool. Our moderators review every report.

Where did last season's chats go?

Chats reset each season, so you start fresh with this season's groups.

My password reset link says it's expired.

Each link works once and only for a short time, and some email apps open links for security checks, which uses them up. Request a new link and open it right away on the same device. If you signed up with Google or Apple, there's no password to reset: use that button to sign in.

Sign-in keeps failing.

Visit matbracketchallenge.com/auth/clear to reset sign-in on this device, then try again. On iPhone, make sure the app is up to date.

Can I change my username?

Usernames stay the same so leaderboards stay consistent, but you can set a nickname on your Profile anytime. That's what your friends see in pools, leagues and chat.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account. Deletion happens after 30 days, so you can change your mind and cancel it from your Profile in the meantime. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple or Google subscription; cancel that in your store settings.
